after many attempts with various dongles i've just purchased this one from aliexpress for 10 euros

then i removed the plastic case and if fits

Did you have to cut into the bike at all? Like in the rubbers?

the bike is untouched, i've just put the dongle into the socket after removing its plastic case (with the plastic case it didn't work properly probably because it coudn't reach the full depth of the socket)

Can anyone recommend an Apple Carplay wireless dongle that works please?

I've had a couple from Amazon and Ebay but they've been a bit hit and miss. One worked but was a bit laggy and had crackly sound and the Carlinkit mini ultra doesnt work at all on the bike but works fine in my car.

I use this from Amazon with iPhone 16 Pro Max on iOS26 and Cardo pack talk edge. Very happy with it. JDG is the brand.

I went with this one after reading Alessandro post on it and works better then the Quadlock one I bought last year and no wire and big dongle to hide, connects faster and works every time so far. Apple Car play also works without using my Cardo system which was a surprise. Super happy with it.
