DIY wiring on the AT V Warranty

Hi Folks


I also like to wire a few bits and bobs into the bike, auto com, lights, trip master.


Does the wiring of these "non Honda parts" have an effect on the warranty?


Never had a new bike, hence the question.

Not at all, as long as you don't fundamentally alter the wiring harness. I had VFR that had a wiring harness recall. Honda replaced the harness and even reconnected my accessory wires under the seat.

The guy who makes it is a fellow Africa Twin Owner in Japan, and I have just installed his kit on my Africa Twin. Fit is perfect - functionality is great and installing it was a peace of piss! You can include up to 8 circuits - 6 switched (comes on with ignition) and 2 permanent (always hot when the circuit box is connected to the battery.
