I’m considering mounting Denali D7 Pros on my bike upside down from the Garda crashbars because I hate the look of them being installed upright, but since they’re quite large, I’m concerned that when the suspension compresses, the front wheel might hit the lights. Has anyone experienced this issue, or is there generally enough clearance to avoid contact?

Not gonna lie, this was some labor intensive work. I've been wrenching bikes my whole life and I was able to get through it but it required alot of tools and finesse.

The instructions from Garda are well....not translated to English appropriately, lacking steps and repeating others. In the end it's fairly self explanatory but time consuming.

Denali customer service is second to none! Highly recommend! I had to call them twice for details on wiring the D7 pros as they require 3 circuits.

The Denali brake lights are super bright!

If you have questions please ask. I was gonna do an install write up but that would have taken weeks.

Oh I also threw on a Honda quick shifter!

Great looking bike!!

Subtracting the shenanigans with the Garda bars ... how tough was the Denali installation? I'm very interested in your experience as I am right now looking at Denali D7s for my 2022 AT and was also planning on using the CANSmart module.

Also, what sort of programming can you do with the new D7 PRO lights?

Finally, any idea if the rear and front turn signals are direct swappable for the Denali T3 M8 lights?

I don't know about the turn signals.

The Denali install wasn't bad, just a little tricky. You have to lift your tank to access the plug for the cansmart connector and then you have to find a suitable way to run all the thick D7 power cables.

You'll need a laptop to plug the cansmart up for programming. They do all kinds of stuff, flash with the horns, act as turn signals, tun on different brightness levels for hi and lo beam, go amber or white independently etc.

They are screaming bright! Lol. Anything more than the lowest setting at night is too much for other traffic.

I've just received the Garda bars and I'm a bit confused about the brackets under the seat. When you removed the existing spacers that were inside the frame bracket, and put the new spacers and brackets on the outside of the frame brackets, did tightening it to spec close that internal gap?
