Here the police are also pretty strict but never had an issue. Once forgot to switch it off before MOT and the technician has asked about that. Explained it's to keep me safe and he let it go..
It would only be the traffic police that would pull you, the ordinary ones probably wouldn't have a clue as to whether it was legal or not.

Thanks @AT-Dragon

Update, things ordered:
Wireless AA dongle
Tank protective side stickers
Seat cover
Side stand extension
Rear brake pedal extension
Radiator grill covers
Dash cams
Rear brake fluid tank cover
Connectors to install Fog lights
Top case

Still considering crash bars front and back, central stand, trying to read all your comments and opinions here. Not easy 😭 😉

As I am in the process of registering the bike, I am considering a customized plate.
It's possible to have 7 characters of one's choice, first 2 must be letters, no special character is allowed.

Any brainstorming ideas? 🙂

Installed the first accessory, a quick-connect lead for the Noco Genius 1 charger.
Space around battery is limited but managed to squeeze it in without needing to do what this guy did the first 5 minutes of the video.
The positive rubber cover had to be cut a little and is still protruding a bit more than should.

Some small bling items received and installed yesterday, pics will follow soon!

I like the side stand extension (Aliexpress), it was quite a tight fit but got it on at the end
Tank side covers
Radiator grill covers
Rear brake fluid reservoir cover
Alu oil cap
Screen protectors
Seat covers
Wireless Android Auto dongle (not tested yet, the phone is being repaired)

I have ordered a central stand as well. It's a Czech made product, no big name but the company produces stands for OEMs, so we'll see.
It's a longer stand for 21' wheel. As discussed with @Hood , hopefully it will fit and the only negative will be the need to use more weight to stand the bike on it. It should arrive in around 2 weeks, so will update.

I don't want to start a new topic, so excuse my questions in this introduction thread.
If the Admins are of different opinion let me know please, I'll start a new topic, or add a question in one of the existing ones.

I am considering the possibility to run GPS from an old phone, not using AA on the main screen, as I would like to have the bike data visible all the time.
What are your opinions about this mount?

Just be careful there is enough vibration damping when mounting a phone. The mount looks ok on the pictures, alternately you might want some thing like a Touratech mount?

Yes you are right. I'll see how it holds. On the XRV750 the vibrations were so bad that after a year of riding, the phone camera module got affected and had trouble focusing the pictures.

Hi Oussie

Glad to hear you got your bike!

Hey, it's always fun to think about something new, especially with the weather not cooperating at the moment!

Just installed aluminium radiator grills. First time removing both fairings was a bit scary! It's way different compared to the old XRV750!

It's crash bars decision time.
Think the Heed ones will do just fine, looks like a Polish product and communication so far so good!
Just can't decide on the colour, black or silver bars on an iridium grey metallic?
What would you go for?

Looking at chain oiler next. Installed a Scottoiler V system on the old XRV750, it had trouble with the main reservoir flow valve after 4 years, wouldn't release the oil or found a puddle under the bike. Bought a second set and that worked until I sold the bike.
Now looking for an E System, it's pricey!
