If its just a for a box mounting then Givi is by far the cheapest option. (Heed rear bars on mine also)

 

Aha! This is so helpful! And it does not seem like I need to replace the side covers/fairings?

The OEM rack comes with new sidecovers.

 

There a two small infill panels to remove that are clipped in, 15 minute job to fit.

 

I just discovered the hard way so be aware. I purchased Bumot pannier racks rather than Honda's expensive rear rack for my luggage needs for a few reasons. 1) I already have Bumot Xmeda soft panniers. 2) I travel solo and when I need more than the panniers hold I lay say my camping duffel across the rear seat. 3) Honda's rear rack is bright silver and everything on my bike is matte black so it'd really stand out (in a bad way).
Well guess what? Bumot's (and Honda's) pannier racks require having the Honda rear rack for fitment. I imagine other brand pannier racks will as well. So if you ever anticipate going with panniers buy the expensive, bright silver, Honda luggage rack. LOL I think I'll paint mine when it comes in.
