These are stock on my 2022 AS ES and after 700 miles I am about fed up. Extremely annoying whine at 55-70 mph. Really disappointed but riding fancy bikes is not a lazy person's pursuit. Leaning towards motoz tractionator gps. Thanks, that is my whine.

I believe that you will find it disappears after awhile.

I have never tried the Karoo Street, but I have had the Karoo 3. They have a similar tread pattern and had a similar noise about the same miles/speed. But with further wear it disappeared.

That said, the Motoz Tractionator GPS tires are nice too and if your looking for an excuse for a quick exit to the Motoz, the whine is as good an excuse as any :)

I'd expect the Motoz to make some noise with the tread pattern.

I have the same whine on my Karoo Streets above about 60-65mph. I'm halfway through the tread currently.

I'm about to put on a set of Bridgestone AT41 and burn them up going to Utah and back in a few weeks. I'll post a review here as they're a new tire as of a few months ago.

I actually have a set of A41/AT41 and AX41 to try having used the 50 dollar rebate cards on two of them.

The AT41 was the same price as a set of Shinko 705 so if they wear well they're a great value.

I'm absolutely fed up with the Karoo Streets too. Bike came with these - and the front produces unbearable whine at about 110kmh / 70mph. Even earplugs won't make it acceptable for touring. Will try the Pirelli Scorpion instead. /rantModeOff

I could not stand it. At 1500mi they were whining so bad I could not hear my wife talk behind me. :) Also, front was causing low speed, deceleration 50-35mph wobble. I threw them away and installed Dunlop Mission Trailmax. Entirely different story, quiet and no wobble.

Yep, been there! Didn't find them terribly confidence-inspiring on wet roads either. And the rear squares off horribly, giving a really weird feel. Running road-focused Continentals now, the rear is dual compound and has proved really durable.
