Might want to check tire rotation direction after reversing the rim. Just a thought.

I usually do my own work also but figured since it only has 5 miles and is their screw up

 

Ask for your first service to be free as a "sorry for the inconvenience" and suggets while getting the free service they double check everything

BTW, if you just put the wheel on the correct way the ECU will eventually turn off the check engine light, it may take one or two short rides turning the engine off & on each time.

 

Ask the dealer if they put the proper Brake Caliper Bolts, or they leave the transportation bolts.
And torqued to specs.

 

Just plain incredible.
They put any apprentice to PDI and Assembly Customers bikes.
High risk many things aren't assembled/torqued properly.
Make a formal claim to the dealer.

 

They want to come get it tomorrow to fix it

 

Jesus, how in the hell does the dealer not notice this mistake? There is a sensor cable that is hanging out that you can't miss. I wonder what else they did incorrectly? Glad you fixed the issue, dude.

So much for a new bike check-out by the dealer.

My former '21 Goldwing DCT was delivered missing one front axle pinch bolt.

 

It should clear itself after a while.
If it doesn't then the below can be done or by using an OBD reader with a suitable adapter.

You can make your own SCS connector by simply inserting a wire between the two pins of the DLC like the image below.

Yep, wheel on wrong way round so pulse ring is not on the same side as the pickup so bike doesn't see the front wheel turning so throws a fault.

 

Check the dealer put the front wheel on the correct way, the pulse ring should be on the left side.

 

This ring is on right side of motorcycle
