Just tested how it fits - looking good so far. It took me a while to get the rubber cap closed, but at the end it's good enough.
The case still needs some optimization and will be very slim. Someone else from German forum will try to seal it with epoxy, which might work well too.

Here some pics of the work in progress:

Hi,
this looks great.
I also bought this adapter and tried to seal the circuit board with a shrink tube with glue. But the tube adds too much space to the board to close the lid.
It would be great to test your 3D model. I guess as long as you can close the lid the open sides are ok.
Have you published the model anywhere? I would really like to test it.

I forgot to post an update. I went on a 6 day ride around southern Utah and Arizona. The 3DMP worked flawlessly 98% of the time. I had once or twice where I had to pop it out and put it back because it just kind of seized up. But over 1500 miles that's not bad. Otherwise no studdery music, flawless nav, etc.

I did however (and I'm sure unrelated) have my entire display go into that default screen layout, flashing fuel gauge mode. It usually took two power cycles of the bike to get it back each time. Maybe I need to go have the recall done?

1. My intercom is connected to the motorcycle.
2. The WiFi Dongle is connected to the phone via Bluetooth.
3. My phone connects to the motorcycle via Bluetooth even though I don't want it to.

Android Auto connects somehow, but when I open Spotify, I can't hear the sound through my headphones even though it's playing on the screen.

When you connect over android auto, it auto establishes a blue tooth link. No way around that. I have my headset (Cardo) connected as "GPS" to my bike and as "Phone" to my phone. That all works for me.
