BTC: Try hovering over the avatar to the Forum member, then click on <Message>.

Hoving over the avatar as Double Thumper suggests and clicking "message" is one way. You can also click on the user's name and it will open another page. On that new page, underneath stats about that user such as replies, discussions created, etc. you will see the options "Follow," "Ignore," "Start Conversation." Start conversation will start a private message conversation with that user.

 

That's what I found and did. Thank you for getting back to me. This all being new is sorta uneasy for me. Don't want to set my self up for something bad. Don.
