I think it's finally time for a new helmet. What are you guys using, and would you buy it again?

I like flip lids , Schuberth E1 is what I have now.
I like it a lot, it fits well and is fairly quiet but peak vibrates a lot and annoys me. Doesn't cause my head to vibrate but it is in my vision and that annoys me. I have removed it and all is fine.
When the time comes it will be a toss up between the Schuberth E2, Shoei Neotec 3 .
I was considering the Schuberth C5 but reckoned I might as well go for the E2 if going the Schuberth route as I can always remove the peak and end up with a C5 with slightly better ventilation.

I am on my third Nolan helmet. The first was a Nolan Classic, the second an N102 and the current N100-5. Excellent quality, reasonably quiet, internal sun visor and midrange price wise. The Nolans were all modular. I haven't broken a pair of glasses since using the modular helmets. Now that I used prescription glasses, that is a bonus by itself. Nolan also seems to be the best fit for my head.

I would buy again, fantastic visor in the rain and comes with a smoke and clear visor. Best pin locked visor I’ve used on any helmet. (i own RF1200, Schuberth E1 with pinlocks).

Helmet is carbon fiber and pretty light. It fits like my Shoei RF1200.

Visor has good smooth indenting as well.

Speaker pockets worked with Sena 30k, then Packtalk Edge when that died in the rain.

Noise is no worse than my Shoei or Schuberth. The peak doesn’t vibrate (that drove me nuts on E1). I wear earplugs in all my helmets so keep that in mind.

Taking a trip tomorrow to look at Schubert C3 Pro modular helmet. Supposed to be extremely quiet. Currently own a Sena Outrush R modular. I wouldn't buy it again since it's an entry level Bluetooth helmet with poor speakers for my aging hearing.

I went thought the same over last couple of months and went for a LS2 advent x carbon lid.

I love a flip lid but don’t like it above my head when riding it catches etc this one flips 180 degrees and sits behind you

would I buy this again yes in a heartbeat it’s comfortable, fits correctly, comes with both a clear and tinted visor and pin locks helmet pillow bag and back pack too

I can’t say I’ve ever owned a helmet that I didn’t like or felt uncomfortable in. But then I‘m jaded to them since they have been off and on my head for about 50yrs. So I started off with ones that weighed enough to kill someone if you threw it at them, to todays composite designs that weigh a quarter of what the old ones weighed, not to mention the materials of the inserts and venting…..
So you can say I just got use to ignoring the helmet so I really don’t notice it..
