I just received a letter from Honda Australia advising that the warranty on my TFT has been extended to 10 years to cover it against failure and that the screen will be replaced free of charge within this time. Good timing really as I noticed the screen has stopped responding now the weather has gotten colder. Just hoping I don't have any hassle with the dealership now that the bike is in the UK. My TFT has been approved under warranty 23 plate AT it does all sorts of weird things besides not responding to touch but getting a delivery date for the replacement is like getting blood from a stone from my local dealer have contacted Honda customer care they keep referring me back to dealer.
I came from BMW after 6 GS’s and despite all their mechanical issues the warranty was second to none Honda communication leaves ALOT to be desired!!!

I got this today. apparently the warranty is being extended for my unit. My guess is that everyone that they have contact information for will probably be getting a latter like this one. Not sure if there is any difference between the units/years. Might be that it does not apply to 2020-2022 as stated in this letter. Might be that 2023 had a design change.
So far I haven’t had any problems with mine.

Just been informed by the dealership that Honda UK won't honour the warranty on my screen because the bike came from Australia. I could understand that argument if the fault only occurred on bikes from a particular region but given that it's a global failure then it really shouldn't matter. I've written to Honda Australia to get their input on the matter but I'm not hopeful.

If Honda Australia have the extended warranty, which I think they do, then you would think that UK would also honour it. It is a long shot but maybe you can get the UK dealer to confirm in writing it is broken and then ask Honda Australia to send you one across so you can fit yourself. They probably will decline but definitely worth a try if you have no joy with Honda UK.

I assumed the same but according to Honda UK, that's not the case. The fact that Honda have sent me the letter from Australia made think it was going to be straightforward but bureaucracy seems to be the only thing that crosses borders.

22 aswell. It must be the modified part no. I posted the latest part no. in the call to all at owners with TFT screen

I am in the same boat as you.
I purchased the bike in USA, but live in the Caribbean.
In the Automotive world, they call this scenario: "Grey Market " where you have the vehicle purchased in another Country, yo do not get warranty, Service Bulletins and related.
Some times, a Security Recall is honored, but it depends of the Dealer and the Manufacturer.
I will ask also in my bike if covered here or not.

Well its not a recall. Its a TSB who is going to pay?.
I would rather go for a used screen in case I have to pay for a TSB.

If I search on my VIN number there is no recall. I guess its a TSB?

Just an FYI for new owners. Last week I went to the Canadian Honda owner page https://www.my-garage.ca/ and added my bike in there so that I was registered with Honda as the new owner (I have a 2020 AS, purchased used in Nov 2022).

About 2 days after registering I received the warranty email online Warranty Extension: Multi-Information Display (MID) Touchscreen Failure

I was keen to register so that I was 'included' in the warranty, just in case there was some quirk that you had to be registered to be counted. But, to be honest, it just seems like an all encompassing warranty extension.

I've had an email from Honda Australia clarifying that it is not a recall but a 'product update' and that it should be honoured by Honda UK. They have asked for details of my local dealership so they can take the matter up with them - hopefully it will get resolved in my favour but I'm not overly confident.
